Itachi and sasuke stand in the ever changing world of tsukoyomi. Sasuke is looking down his expression unreadable.
Sasuke: why tell me this now? What does it change?!
Itachi: it changes your perception of the truth...and perhaps
Sasuke: it changes nothing!!!! Sasuke roars looking up at Itachi the rage clear on his face.
Sasuke: It does not change the victimisation of our clan, it does not change the genocide of all the Uchiha !! Konoha will pay for their betrayal and they will pay by my hands!!!
Itachi:...
Sasuke: that Madarra is another orichimaru makes no difference, I always knew he was using me for his own ends, but as long as our paths followed side by side I intended to use him as well.
Itachi:...
Sasuke: Taking care of him was something that I always planned for his part in it once this was over, now I will make sure to make him suffer before he dies!
Itachi: i see...so that is your answer...
Sasuke: I know what you want to hear brother but you won't. The Uchiha clan were right to feel as they did, they were right to revolt because of the actions of the hidden leaf. That Madarra was the cause changes nothing! It was still konoha that led them down that path and they will pay for it with their lives!!!
Itachi: ...it seems that I have always been too weak, too weak to protect my village, too weak to change my clan... even too weak to save my little brother.
Sasuke: I do not need saving.
Itachi: You will.
Switch to naruto
Naruto has stunned look of disbelief on his face.
Naruto: Sasuke?! This was all about Sasuke.
9 tails: The actions of Uchiha Madarra thus far lead to only one conclusion. Along with the recent events of Itachi's death and sasuke joining him it is quite obvious that Uchiha Madarra seeks to regain his lost power.
Naruto: I have to save him, I won't let him hurt sasuke!
9 Tails: foolish boy! Do you think this changes anything?!
Naruto:...
Naruto looks all dejected and sits down his elbows resting on his knees his hands against his forehead.
9 tails: this does not change who sasuke is naruto, it does not change what he has become.
Naruto: I know...I just...
He sighs and stands back up.
This doesn't change anything, I still have to fight them and defeat them...anything else...will just have to wait.
9 tails: haaa finally the boy grows into the man! Yes, do what you must, do what you can and leave the rest to fate.
Naruto: So what do we do now nine tails?
The nine tails looks at naruto with quite obvious disgust
9 tails: I can't believe YOU defeated me, if not for that 8 tails host I'd call you the stupidest host that had ever lived.
Naruto grins and scratches his hair.
Naruto: errrr haha sorry
9 tails: now I show you how we fight as a team, now I show you how you CAN finish that technique!!!
Scene Switch to Madarra:
Sasuke holds the side of his head as they come out of tsukoyomi.
I will never allow that to happen Itachi, never!!
Madarra:?!!
Sasuke looks down at kabuto and Madarra below.
Sasuke: I was never sure what it was you wanted from me Madarra but now I will make sure to make you pay for what you have started!
Madarra: Damn you Itachi!
Sasuke: I have no further need of you Madarra, I can take care of naruto and konoha on my own.
Madarra looks up at Sasuke for a few moments then starts to chuckle.
Madarra: Impudent child, you speak too highly of yourself. This is nothing but minor hindrance to my plans. I had hoped for things to go the easy way but I guess that has never been our fate.
We see the black Ameterasu sword of susanoo strike down from the cliff and pierce all the way through Madarras chest.
Madarra: If I didn't have to deal with this war young Uchiha I'd take care of you here and now
He slowly begins to phase into the ground below.
But since you will be of no longer use to me for now... I'll catch you later.
He does a Tobi like wave before finally disappearing into the ground!
Itachi: He has lost one pawn he goes to make sure he doesn't lose the other. He aims to take out naruto first before he truly controls the 9 tails...what will you do now sasuke?
Kabuto: Kukukukuku I'm not sure if I should be offended or not, it seems like I've been completely forgotten.
Sasuke's susanoo fades away, he jumps off the ledge he's been standing on and lands on the ground 20 feet away from kabuto.
Sasuke: You will die first snake!!
Kabuto: Kuku we'll see about that, you may wish to take a look at that.
He jumps back getting some distance between him and sasuke. Sasuke looks to his left to see an open and empty coffin
Kabuto: I wonder what could have been in there...say goodbye to your brother sasuke.
Sasuke looks sharply up towards Itachi looking for any sign of attack just as a black sword pierces out through the front of his chest.
Kabuto: Still a naive little genin! Kuku
Voice: Is this all the blood of the Uchiha has amounted to in all these years!
Sasuke looks shocked as the blood flows down from his chest.
Kabuto looks on with a wide grin on his face.
Itachi looks down with a sadness that cannot be described
Voice: It seems that you have been telling me the truth yakushi kabuto...
Behind sasuke we see the head of a man appear, a face that has the eyes of Uchiha Izuna.
Uchiha Izuna: ...It seems my revenge against the Uchiha clan begins here!!!
